In charge of solar customer projects in Asia. Provide linkage between customers and internal functions. Set-up of efficient project management organisation.

Installation of solar cell manufacturing lines. In charge of budget, coordinating project team and suppliers, scheduling, manufacturing ramp-up and final acceptance by customer. Running multiple projects in parallel, each with 10 – 15 people involved and revenue above €10M.

Installation of 6 inspection systems for optical polymer film at manufacturing sites in Taiwan, revenue €3M. Interim-lead for project to install 5 inspection systems for LCD glass sheets in Korea, revenue €9M. Initiated the use of machine learning techniques to configure defect classification.

Setup of optoelectronics packaging & test line. Led a team of 3 engineers and several operators. Transferred R&D knowledge from USA, wrote specifications, selected suppliers, negotiated purchase of equipment worth €5M. Qualified processes & end product. Manufacturing ramp-up.

Project lead of international R&D projects for chipscale MEMS packaging, improved-performance inkjet chips and micromirror projector device. Started initiatives with local R&D institutions. 4 invention disclosures, 3 scientific papers and 2 USA patents.

Started 2 gas pressure sensor and 2 medical blood pressure sensor MEMS manufacturing lines after production move to Indonesia. Final ramp-up and qualification by customers/FDA. Set up quality-monitoring system. Modified product tester to increase line throughput by 300%.

Development of high-speed devices for wireless communication. Liaise with industry partners on requirements and deliverables. Built the first Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) in Southeast Asia. 3 scientific papers.
