During my doctorate at the Chair of Organic Chemistry in Frankfurt, I had to deal with a wide range of tasks. - The synthesis and characterisation of new compounds using a broad scope of methods (espacially phosphoramidites and peptides in order to build up oligonucleotides and proteins) - Elaboration of appropiate synthetic strategies. - Supervision of students' theses (Bachelor & Master) - Leading of exercises to the corresponding lectures (natrual product synthesis and genaral organic chemistry)

During my master's degree, I gained expertise in the field of organic chemistry and a good insight into working with cells. For examples in chemistry: peptides, phosphoramidites, sugars and various classes of other small molecules. For examples in cells: cell transformation, protein expression, various electrophoreses, size exclusion and affinity chromatography
