Led and supported multimillion-dollar R&D programs, supplier qualification, and collaborations. Defined validation criteria and applied advanced electrochemical analysis. Managed prelithiation, mechanical component evaluation, coin/pouch optimization, postmortem analysis, documentation, and inputs to IP, EU projects, investor/technical communications.

    Served as technical lead for a $90K Si-anode binder R&D project with LG Chem, managing the full lifecycle and budget, resulting in one patent application and a peer-reviewed publication. Synthesized and optimized novel polymer binders and flame-retardant gel polymer electrolytes through performance-driven formulation work. Supported research planning, group reviews, and daily lab operations within a 15+ member research team.

    LABORATORY FOR ADVANCED BATTERY MATERIALS , INCHEON UNIVERSITY SOUTH KOREA

    Executed synthesis and electrochemical evaluation of Zn and Mg aqueous battery anodes within a $250K Samsung–Korean government program, achieving a four-fold improvement in Zn foil efficiency via surface modification. Secured $100K for new instrumentation and oversaw installation, safety compliance, and IP-relevant documentation. Contributed to research conception, experimental design, and problem definition, providing supervision and technical guidance that supported one PhD and two MSc project.
