Keys Responsibilities of my roles are: Designing system level requirements, validating these requirements, technical issue resolution, and getting the vehicles certified according to the different market regulations and applicable standards (homologation)

    My master thesis focuses on harnessing the Building Thermal Inertia for the Inertial frequency support. • Recognized the potential for the cheaper inertial frequency support via thermally controlled loads • Development of control strategy for these aggregated Thermal loads and usage of their inherent thermal inertia • Fabrication of state-of-art controller and possible implementation in the Simris village Microgrid

    HIWI job at IFHT department  Contributing to the departmental research by improving the scripts in MATPAT.  Delivered a script offering flexibility in percentage of renewable energy penetration, so that its effects on system stability can be easily studied.  Innovated a Droop control schematic for implementing the guideline from Transmission Code 2007, to limit the active feed from renewables when the system frequency goes beyond 50.2Hz.

    HiWi job at ISEA Job involved analysing the stochastic difference in inner resistance in a battery string and its influence on ageing in MATLAB.  Redesigned and delivered a Complex Lead-acid battery MATLAB model to demonstrate realistic aging behaviour of the Battery pack as whole which can encompass the effects of corrosion and aging, making it more generic in nature.
