Headless d2c storefront for an international consumer-products retailer, several markets. An established salesforce commerce cloud site moving onto pwa kit, react 18 with ssr and chakra ui. I own checkout and payments, the react widget framework that lets an external headless cms render into the app with ssr, the design system through the chakra v2 to v3 migration, and the test and ci setup. SmartBirds is the open-source field-data platform BirdLife Bulgaria's staff and volunteers use to record biodiversity observations: an android app for offline entry in the field, a node.js and postgresql api, and a web app for review and export. I wrote the first commit of both the android app and the server. Partly contract, partly pro bono. Recently a security assessment producing 51 tracked findings, and redis-backed rate limiting shipped in monitor-only mode so live traffic could tune the thresholds.

Mostly react front ends for commerce and data-heavy products, usually on a codebase that already exists and keeps changing under load - legacy rebuilds, ssr and performance, design systems, test and ci. Esports match-analytics platform for Valorant, sold to professional teams, coaches and analysts - a vue web application plus a desktop companion distributed on the Overwolf overlay platform. I took the CTO role after eight months as frontend lead and stayed hands-on, remaining the product's primary frontend engineer. Architecture and the technical roadmap for both products, the requirements work in front of them, hiring and onboarding engineers, and weekly planning with a small engineering team.

Primary frontend engineer on an interactive 2d match-replay tool: positional replay over map imagery with layers, traces, zones and heatmaps, trajectories processed server-side and interpolated for playback, drawing on the replay for coaches, a timeline synchronized to the match video, presenter mode, image export. One rendering pass was scoped at a million position points. Svg and d3.js. Also the vue spa around it, on vuex and typescript.

seo-focused server-side-rendered dynamic landing pages. Setup the ssr next.js project, functional tests in playwright, visual regression with loki.js and lighthouse ci monitoring. Jest, testing library, storybook, msw. Deployed on heroku, built on travis ci.

Rebuilt the job-search frontend of yourfirm.de, a ten-year-old marketplace, from scratch in react, then ran it through three more years of team delivery. First release in three months against hundreds of undocumented edge cases. Multi-tenant whitelabel: 100+ portals, each with a different look, out of one codebase. 96% test coverage running in three minutes on ci, and lighthouse ci with hard limits so a cls or lcp regression fails the build. Scrum Master for the delivery team from mid-2020.
