My current role is to identify, develop and create business for an ethical law firm. This involves contacting potential clients, developing relationships, arranging meetings, writing tender applications to local authorities, managing a client database and researching the market and prospective clients who may require legal services. I also assist in online and offline marketing, including social media and networking events, as well as strategic reviews.

My role is to co-ordinate social media campaigns, using the program Hootsuite to schedule posts on Twitter and Facebook; advertise the company’s products and interact with customers, and to write author interview articles and press releases for the website. I also help to organise launch events, and aid author James Corbett with research for his books through archives and interviews with former footballers; including ‘The Cannonball Kid’, for which I am credited inside the book.

Every two to three weeks I produce a short article for the ‘Juror’ section in the Liverpool Echo. This involves me producing a 150-word column giving my opinion on anything to do with Everton FC. This is a great way to expose my work in a newspaper with a large regional readership.

This role involved assisting with admin work, predominantly analysing data to be entered and organised on confidential patient records. I also dealt with patient queries over the telephone giving a customer service edge to my responsibilities. I have completed e-Learning modules in Safeguarding and am a Dementia Friend.

This involved me producing short 200-300 word articles using the program WordPress detailing news from anything to do with Italian football, and also writing 500-word match reports and previews. I often translate articles from Italian sources and produce reports to a strict deadline.

I had a responsibility as a constituency representative to make decisions on my constituents' behalf with consideration to how these decisions will benefit the town and its residents. Communication and debating with others, of all party affiliations, was a key part of my duties, along with planning and organising in preparation for the upcoming development of our town.

As an intern in Louise Ellman's constituency office, I was responsible for aiding Mrs Ellman's assistants with constituents' casework. This involved producing letters, making phone calls, media monitoring, and collecting and retrieving information. I also accompanied Mrs Ellman to local events in her Liverpool constituency, including a visit to meet the Co-Chairman of Fujitsu Telecommunications Simon Blagden, a meeting on the future of the new Mersey Gateway, and a Liverpool Chamber of Commerce meeting.
