Lead a group of project leaders and engineers. In charge of diesel aftertreatment projects for the customers FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) and CNH-Industrial. Main responsibility are: manage group manpower , ensuring that projects run within the planned budget and timing and required quality standards are kept, define product strategy and acquire new projects, develop key relationships with the customers.

In charge of four projects ( F1C Ram ProMaster, F1C Fuso EME, F1C Fuso EUV Hybrid and F1C Fuso EUVI Hybrid ) for the customers Fiat, Chrysler, Fiat-Industrial and Mitsubushi Fuso. Main responsibility is project leadership from feasibility study to start of production, managing the manpower involved, the budget and the communication with the customer and ensuring that timing and required quality standards are kept.

In charge of the application and development of diagnostic control units, both hardware and software, for local companies including Hyundai Motors, GM Daewoo and SSangYong Motor. Main responsibility is managing the budget for the entire engineering department, coordinating the team, giving presentations on latest products concerning diagnostics and monitoring to customers and working in close liaison with Bosch headquarter in Germany.

Support vice president of engineering department in his daily activities. This includes the preparation of meetings; presentation with customers; department strategy planning, developing and monitoring key performance indicators; implementation of quality concepts; preparation of audit and business plans, competitors benchmarking, technical interface with headquarters in Germany. Responsible for department budget control and allocation, overhead monitoring; knowledge management programs.

As senior engineer, developed a new diesel engine for General Motors that satisfied the European legislation EU5. Responsible for the calibration of the main ECU (Electronic Control Unit) functionalities used for the interface between the engine and vehicle. Also worked as technical consultant for BMW at its engineering research center in Austria while working on the GM project in Italy, the U.S. and Germany.

Teaching ISUZU engineers the main Bosch strategies and algorithms that control diesel engines.

Development, calibration and validation of software and hardware solutions for diesel engines for customers GMPT-E (General Motors Powertrain Europe) and FPT (Fiat Powertrain technologies). Visited Fiat research center in Turin to explain the application of the developed solutions.

Analysis of combustion methodologies, injectors and nozzles for common rail diesel engines for BMW.

Mechanical characterization of composite materials for aero-space application through optical methods.

The master is a joint program between Sejong university of Korea and Syracuse university located in the New York state. During the program I have been awarded a scholarship for three semester as best student of my class.

Master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Machine Design specialization. Thesis in experimental mechanics concerning the measurements of the deflections experienced by electronic chips during soldering. Awarded with three scholarships and grant for thesis.
