Model-Based Design for HIL simulation activities - design of simulink and simscape models to reproduce real behavior of combine harvester - design of vehicle dynamic model using simscape library - implementation of model in HIL environment

The thesis project focused on the development of systems and methodologies for impact and high-speed testing. Main topics: - validation of an acceleration system for drop tower systems for the market introduction of a competitive system capable of reaching speeds over 20 m/s and over 2000 J of impact energy - introduction of High Strain Rate testing with high-speed analysis and data acquisition using DIC non-contact measurements. Design and validation of a system capable of performing tests up to 6 m/s.
