I joined the Klarna external data services team where my responsibilities are to integrate Klarna with external data providers, bug fixing and improvements related to logging and monitoring using Datadog and migrating from scala-based legacy services to AWS serverless functions.

At Ancud, I was working with data scientists where my responsibilities were to convert their python and R models into spark using python and scala. Then, I developed learning material along with running notebooks and exercises using Hadoop and Spark for their internal team.

I was responsible for developing applications and solutions for the clients, deploying applications as a DevOps using Chef, building an RBAC system for the Cloudplex platform, developing and controlling different product components of the Cloudplex deployment platform.

I was responsible for data ingestion and perform ETL related operations on data from different sources using Apache Spark and Hadoop eco-system. I delivered many connectors to fetch data from different sources including relational databases including MYSQL, SQL Server and SAP HANA, streaming queues such as Kafka and Kinesis, NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, HBase, and DynamoDB, file systems such as HDFS and S3. Git, Jira, Maven, Scrum, Agile were the methods used for day-to-day activities.
