Devised fallback mechanisms for millimetre-wave links which reduced communication outages. Proposed and implemented an algorithm to successfully determine the LOS link and switch to microwave frequency in case of blockage. Using channel estimation and MIMO, improved the algorithm further. Part of the research project ‘Pilotprojekt Schloßkreuzung’. Achieved traffic optimization by designing algorithms using simulation-based testing and analysis. Knowledge: Vehicular networking, algorithms. Skills: MATLAB, Veins and SUMO.
Developed an emulator for simulating robots in cooperative driving manoeuvres. Responsible for performing statistical comparisons of the data collected from the emulator and the hardware robot. Led a team of 4 responsible for the kinematics of the robots. Skills: Python, Containerized Python Development (Docker), Qt and Git.
Responsible for seminar room automation. Worked with Raspberry Pi. Knowledge: IoT, Embedded devices, WiFi, KNX Skills: Raspberry Pi programming and OpenHAB
