- Review of current innovation practices in food manufacturing firms across Europe. - Design of the questionnaires that was distributed to food manufacturers across Europe, with relation to preparation of the data collection tools for the project toolbox. - Attending various regional and national business networking meetings to represent Teagasc and NetGrow. - Writing for the internal and external project update reports, including authoring an article for the online project newspaper.

- Project leader for 3 R&D projects on process improvement & ingredients. - Outlined the work and the scope, including deliverables, budget and resources. - Responsible for the design and development of the technical steps of the projects. - Negotiating with other staff for the availability of resources including HR. - Managing supplier relationships in order to assure that the delivery times coincide with the availability of resources.
