SmApper develops an Appliance to add file-level intelligence to an existing storage layer. Design and implement distributed, scalable and high available system software to manage and migrate unstructured data. Develop under FreeBSD and Win32 in order to support NFS and CIFS at the same time.

Intern within an Automation & Control department. Helped to design, develop and document Engineering Software in a distributed team (USA and GER) to model and simulate factory automations. Tested and debugged a software for designing HMI interfaces.

Working student in an applied research team. Programmed device drivers and implemented memory allocation routines using an ARM7 based micro controller and µCLinux in order to develop a new form of intelligent energy data recording.

Administrated a Linux server and its Windows clients. Basic Sendmail setup and maintenance. Developed some databases with Microsoft Access. Help desk and end user support.
