Appointed by BDO's restructuring team following the voluntary administration of Smiths City to reconstruct historical financial records and support administrator and liquidator reporting. Prepared five years of management accounts, rebuilt fixed asset registers, and reconciled shareholder accounts using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and IDU. Quantified and reconciled the pre-appointment GST position, including sales order, deposit and delivery timing analysis to support statutory reporting.

Hired by Polar Capital (PE) to restructure finance operations across three entities, leading 6 direct and 35 indirect reports. Worked directly with PwC, BDO, ASB Bank and the IRD on liquidity management and payment arrangements during distressed trading. Led statutory reporting, treasury, IFRS 16 lease accounting and group reporting, including 100+ leases using NOMOS and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI and IDU. Reduced annual insurance costs by 5% through umbrella policy negotiations.

Appointed CFO and Board Director of a US publicly traded renewable energy company at age 29, overseeing SEC reporting, corporate governance, investor relations and a multi-country finance function. Structured USD 560 million in project debt and equity with European and North American banks, utilities and institutional investors, scaling revenue from USD 50,000 to USD 54 million and delivering 320MW Including 65MW in Germany of renewable energy capacity across the US, Canada and Germany.

Designed and implemented a multi-currency, multi-user SAGE ERP system to replace Excel-based reporting, enabling real-time consolidation across 13 entities. Prepared and filed the first US-GAAP consolidated financial statements covering operations in three countries, while reconciling with German IFRS standards to meet both SEC and local reporting obligations. Established monthly close, treasury, and cash-flow reporting processes across international subsidiaries.
