Assisted in the deployment of pollution measurement sensors uniformly in Beirut. Calibrated the data collected against a high fidelity sensor. Gathered different simulation models used for pollution distribution prediction from literature and compared their advantages and disadvantages. Got introduced to GRAM-GRAL simulation software. Performed statistical analysis on the calibrated data using MATLAB (detecting hourly, daily, diurnal, weekly and monthly trends and linking them to meteorological factors)

Performed extensive research on the fluid dynamic and heat transfer effects of ultrasonic metal welding on its acoustic quality control. Programmed MATLAB simulation codes that plot welding velocity distributions and temperature distributions in regions subjected to heat transfer. Programmed MATLAB ray tracing codes that show how welding sound rays are refracted due to temperature gradients.

Applied plumbing principles by sizing pipes connected to different plumbing fixtures. Had an overview on LEED (Leadership in energy and environmental design) rating system and the criteria needed for a project to gain LEED certification.
