I am responsible for ensuring a high quality, editorial service, providing unique SEO content for German companies and multinationals seeking to enter or increase their presence on the UK or other English-speaking markets.

A member of the senior management team, I maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, members and clients. I represent the Chamber at meetings, conferences and events and undertake presentations in both English and German about the Chamber’s work. I am responsible for the market entry service, environmental consulting and project work. I also develop the Chamber’s marketing messages, brand management, PR campaigns and online strategy.

I had responsibility for the Chamber’s client-facing service giving initial advice and information on the UK and German market to potential exporters. I undertook key account management of German companies, helping them find agents, distributors and customers in the UK. I also monitored trends in FDI in the UK and Germany through surveys of German and British subsidiaries. I also edited the Chamber’s magazine, newsletter and internet site.

The Lord’s Taverners is a charity dedicated to helping underprivileged children by raising money through celebrity cricket matches. As Marketing Manager, I was responsible for design, layout and printing of publicity material, including liaison with designers and printers. I collated articles and liaised with the editor of The Long Room magazine. I also undertook press and public relations work as well as organising events (social and sporting) and meetings for The Young Lord’s Taverners.

EacBen operated a weekly container service from northern Europe to Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan with transhipment to other destinations in Asia. My role as Sales / Marketing Assistant involved co-ordinating design, production and distribution of international corporate material, including liaison with advertising agencies, setting sales and marketing budget allocations for agents across the globe and also editing the newsletter from the Commercial Department.
