• Led global R&D projects related toproduct development in hotmelt adhesives and carded air-through bonded nonwovens used in hygiene industry yielding 1 M$ cost saving. • Ensured raw material compliance and optimization via characterization in laboratory, on-site machine trials and optimization of process conditions. • Communicated with raw material suppliers to facilitate technical compliance and product development for the new production facility in Vietnam.

• Actively worked and led a work package in EU Horizon 2020 funded project named “Nanohybrids”. • Led the experimental and theoretical studies on the investigation of kinetics of supercritical drying of organic/hybrid gel particles to produce aerogels. • Scale-up from a laboratory scale supercritical drying unit (25 ml) to a pilot scale (30 L) unit.

• Actively worked in a project funded by TÜBİTAK 1003 - Primary Subjects programme named “Design of cheap nickel-based catalysts for hydrogen production from ammonia”. • Illuminated the structure-performance relationship of supported Ni catalysts for NH3 decomposition.

• Actively worked in a project funded by Turkish Petroleum Refineries named “Development of a laboratory scale hydrocracking unit and hydrocracking catalysts”. • Design and development of a laboratory scale hydrocracking unit for catalyst development. • Synthesis, characterization and testing of Si/Al-zeolite supported nickel-tungsten catalysts for hydrocracking a heavy vacuum gas oil.
