Professional Conference Interpreter having worked in a myriad of missions in simultaneous modality, including the WHO 4-day Healthy Cities 2018 Conference held in Belfast, 5-day Geneva Trade Week co-hosted by WTO and the UNIDO Bridge for Cities event, UN organisations as well as for Oxfam International, Vertic, Trasparency International (Australia Chapter), for PWYP Secretariat, during the Carbon Inequality webinar from Oxfam International -including Ban Ki-Moon & António Guterres interventions, etc.

In 2006 my and my partner created a company to offer localisation, translation, proofreading, interpreting, desktop publishing and web edition services to a wider portfolio of clients. Since then we have been sucessfully working in this industry we know for years working as freelancers and in in-house positions for other agencies.

From March 2002 I have been working in translation and localisation of all sorts of documents and contents from English, French and Portuguese for different purposes. All these works are done following standards, specific requirements and instructions and deadlines demanded by the client. All translations are proofread by a partner of mine and guarantee the highest quality.

Translation and localisation services including the set up and management of translation teams for various language pairs on large projects. As a project manager and language advisor, my main duties are –quotation generation, file format conversion and processing, follow up of partial deliveries, proofreading and functional testing, translation memory creation, management and support for team members, etc.

Multitask translation and publishing project management. QA certification of processes in all stages of production (translation, proofreading, localization, format conversion, desktop editing, functional testing…) Liaison with clients and providers for all multilingual projects designed to meet the clients’ needs.
