 Established the molecular pathology field in the company.  Understanding the needs of laboratories in industry and academy.  Locating innovative technologies in the market and implementing them in the industry in academy.

 Implemented manual record migration to a cloud-based LIMS and customized the system to meet laboratory requirements.  Achieved 30% reduction in biosensor training costs by streamlining workflows and optimizing team performance.  Engagement with regulatory bodies, encompassing FDA submissions and collaborative efforts.  Designed and executed experiments to optimize operational and business processes.

Establishment of the qPCR and analysis department. Ramp-up from 0 to 10,000 COVID19 tests per day in two months, then scale-up to 35,000 test per day in 3 months. Sponsorships sampling projects, implementation of new and innovative methods and robotics, ISO9001 certification. Working with external suppliers and production companies. Support for the R&D director – planning, executing, analyzing results and writing reports. Management of 4 teams working 24/7 including mentoring of team managers.

 Comprehensive management of multiple research projects that led to publishing.  Establishment of the CRISPR/Cas9 technology in the lab and faculty.  Protocol writing and implementation of new innovative methods in the lab.

 Hands-on guidance for new users; Inventory management of the Virus Room facilities with external and internal suppliers; Enforcement of safety regulations.

Thesis: “Using CRISPR/Cas9 to study the mechanisms of action of semaphorins and lysyl oxidases”.  5 publications in different journals – impact factor above 4.5.  Poster presentation in two international conferences.  The Miriam and Aaron Gutwirth Memorial Fellowship 2019.  The Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine Excellence Scholarship of spring semester 2019.
