I have been responsible for the target achievement of technical material cost reductions, new idea generation activities, business case calculations, the implementation of technical changes leading to cost reductions and the respective financial accountig, for all Opel/Vauxhall vehicles.

Working in a cross-funktional consulting team, leading projects to optimize vehicle profitablity or material cost in close cooperation with the Opel Board members of Finance, Purchasing and Engineering.

Developing processes and systems/database and building cross-functional teams with the task to reduce material cost. Definition of cost reduction targets for carlines and engineering areas. Development of a toolbox to be utilized to determine cost reduction potentials. Manage the decision making process for cost reduction initiatives.

Senior Buyer for Fuel Cell Components (Stack, Air supply, Cooling components), negotiation of complex contracts and interlectual properties.
