Mag. Iosif Juhasz

At the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the EU I performed translations from English and French into Romanian for several EU institutions/agencies in the fields of environment, internal market, community trademarks and designs, vocational education and training, culture, technical, etc. I also revised documents translated by external Romanian and Hungarian translators of the Centre. I participated in several courses on Trados’ tools and on terminology, databases, revision, and community search engines.

I worked as a professional translator/reviser. I translated EU documents from English and French into Romanian, in the environment field, but I also worked for some other agencies (in the social and medical field) and for the European Court of Auditors. I revised/evaluated different documents translated by external translators in RO and HU. I received training on general IT-environment of the Centre, as well as on Trados’ tools and I visited the European Parliament and the European Court of Justice.

At S.C. CARLITO S.R.L. I worked as a translator, interpreter and reviser for the following languages: Romanian, English, Hungarian, French, and Russian. In June 2003, I was appointed as Assistant Manager, and then in October 2003 (October 2003 - February 2004) I was appointed as Manager of the Translation Agency. I was managing the whole activity of the Translation Agency.
