Isaac Barkhouse

This division specializes in electromobility services and test benches. My responsibilities included: • Designing and constructing a throttle valve electrification system motor test bench; • Programming the test bench in National Instruments LabVIEW to drive and analyze the motor system / brake controller; • Logging and analyzing data during the motor test bench measurement documentation stage and presenting findings to the German client company; and • Developing a traction drive inverter model in Simulink.

My responsibilities included: • Electrical characterization of sensors for the consumer market; • Preparing and executing special measurements of accelerometer MEMS; • Designing, assembling and testing circuits and measurement apparatuses; • Developing codes in various languages (C++, MATLAB, IronPython) to conduct experiments and evaluate data; • Training and mentoring new interns within the project team; and • Presenting results to the internal team and working collaboratively to plan future actions.
