• Working as a Resident Engineer for Lear Products at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) supporting the development of the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM (SJB: Smart Junction Box) is an automotive electronic control unit (or units) responsible for monitoring and controlling various electronic accessories in the vehicle’s body. • Assigned to client’s site at JLR Engineering center in UK • Customer focused • Involved in all the Project Engineering departments: Management, SW, HW, Quality and Manufacturing.

• Team Leader within SW department supporting the development of the BCM for JLR • Managed the SW development and validation teams (international teams: Spain, India and Philippines) • Managed and lead technical meetings, which involved critical decision making and client negotiation • Managed the releases of SW, identified root causes of issues and implement solutions • Responsible for assigning tasks, cost studies, timings and documentation (specifications, meeting minutes, lessons learned, etc.)

• SW developer in the diagnostic team within the JLR department at Lear • Responsible for the SW development, compilation, debugging, unit & integration testing, regression testing, among others • Involved with programming Data Trouble Codes (DTCs), diagnostics services, among others • Worked with embedded systems for the automotive sector • Knowledge in software development lifecycle and requirements gathering.

• Designed and developed (HW & SW) of a GPS receiving system for operations in an extreme and remote polar environment. The system consists of components of navigation (GPS technology), communications (Radio Modem and satellite –Iridium–), and power (renewable energy –photovoltaic solar-power system–) • Handled international projects with partners in USA, UK and Denmark: Unavco, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics - Space Geodesy Group, Scottish Association for Marine Science
