Improvement of 3D numerical limited-area model of the atmosphere, entirely built by a team of Spanish researchers. I currently work in the integration of a new Parametrization for the Atmosphere Radiative processes developed by Jean-Jacques Morcrette. Also I got involved in the optimization of Promes MPI parallel code for distributed-memory Supercomputers. My main aim was to reduce the number of MPI messages crossing the network to achieve some speed-up on such parallel architectures.
