Successfully carried out field surveys in eight regions of Tanzania and identified insect pests of Amaranth, African nightshade and Ethiopian kale and their natural enemies.

Setting wire worms traps in experimental fields, processing and preservation of insect samples. Measurement of pesticide product quantity on treated seeds as part of the pesticide product registration process. Assisted in aphid feeding behaviour experiments using Electrical Penetration Graph (EPG).

Investigating customer complaints, organizing for hygiene and water tests and communicating the results, updating product specifications, monitoring product shelf life and Auditing of vegetable pack houses to ensure compliance to GlobalGAP and other customer standards.

Developed product specifications for Roses and lilies, handled customer complaints, developed standard operating procedures, trained staff and supervised the quality control team. Attained GlobalGAP, British Ornamental Plant Producers (BOPP) and Kenya Flower Council (Silver and Gold) certifications. Carried out internal audits to ensure farm compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
