I provided teaching support during a rainforest expedition to setup and monitor six student group projects for final year theses. I facilitated the development of the students experimental designs and helped focus them to answer specific questions through a series of informal workshops and conversations in the field.

The Ecosystem Restoration and Intervention Ecology Research group aims to experimentally investigate how restored forest can provide multiple ecosystem services while maximising carbon sequestration.

I collected data for several projects in collaboration with the University Malaysia Sabah, the University of Aberdeen, and the Malaysian Forestry Department.
