I am responsible for working with our partners in the Asia Pacific region to help them add value to our clients. Specialising in the areas of Fatigue and Data Processing using nCode DesignLife, GlyphWorks and Automation.

I was responsible for finding the most appropriate FEA, CFD and Reliability tools for clients, ensuring that they meet the ever increasing demands placed upon them. My experience ensured engineers balancde the functionality they require within the budgets they had available.

I was based in the Manchester office working both on and off site with a small focused team on a very wide range of consulting projects. Projects included optimising clients designs using Optistruct and HyperStudy and also using HyperMesh with Dyna Implicit and Explicit on various projects. I also worked on several projects looking at customising software and writing macros to make the analysts work a little easier. Industries included Aerospace, Medical, Defence, Packaging and Automotive to name a few.

Responsible for all sheet metal forming simulations from concept to prototype. Improving manufacturing feasibility by presenting simulation results to the design team to facilitate design changes while preserving design intent.

As an Application Engineer I got involved in various of projects in many different industries. Including Manufacturing Simulations with Deform and AutoForm, Pipe analysis with CAESAR II and also linear and non-linear simulations using NISA and ANSYS.
