Purchasing Responsibility of all investments at IAS (up to 100 mill € pa). Management of a global Team of 9 buyers, 5 under direct hierarchical responsibility Definition & Implementation of strategic approach to Capital and Tooling purchasing (with other departments), frequent Best Cost Country Sourcing in countries like China, India, Thailand, eastern Europe, Brazil.

Development of sourcing strategies for machining equipment for Delphi worldwide Negotiation support to individual buyers Identification of global synergy opportunities Approval of sourcing decisions Leadership of regional cost reduction initiatives

Purchase of Production machinery and equipment for Delphi Diesel Sites in France and Spain (Budget up to US$ 100 M p.a)

Independent negotiations and awarding of contracts for all indirect requirements.(MRO)

Procurement of direct materials Purchasing responsibility on selected components Customs clearance of imported components Introduction of Kanban re-order point system for direct materials
