The Chief Operation Officer is responsible for Production, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Maintenance. He is responsible for the RC of the whole Aircraft and has to ensure the delivery on time and on quality. Beside this he leads the Facility Management and Lean initiatives. He is Accountable Manager for the PO and MO. Additionally he is Member of the Board of Managers of Kopter North America and is VR in the MAAG (Molliser Airport AG).

The plant Airframes & Blades is producing Major Component Assemblies (MCA) means complete HC structures (airframes) and is equipping theses already with tanks, cables, ... . Besides the structure assembly and integration of equipment the composites single part production (incl. Blades Production) and sheet metal shop is belonging to the plant. Furthermore the maintenance and repair of rotorblades is done in this facility and is guaranteeing a strong link to our customers.

The Service Center consists of 3 main pillars: Machining, Surface Treatment and Industrial Technologies. Machining contents of: Work Preparation, Logistic, Production, Operational Procurement and Quality. The Galvanic treatment and the Painting belongs (incl. HC) to the Surface Treatment department. The Industrial technologies department has a wide range of services which the offer to the whole site: Tooling, tool mgt, NC Programming, Procurement of production means, time studies and calibration mgt.

Australian Aerospace Composites Ltd belongs to 100 % to Australian Aerospace Ltd which belongs 100% to Eurocopter. Installation of a new composites production facility and managing Transfers of Composite Parts. Responsibility for P&L, Operations, Business Development and the support functions like HR, Finance, IT, ... The whole international experience was planned and limited to 1 year to set up the facility and hand over to an Australian Director.

Investigation of new Technology to improve quality or reduce leadtime and/or costs. During this time projects have been: industrialisation of a laser system for prepare painting of blades; new NDT machine for inspection of composites parts; new machining machines for trimming of composites parts.
