• CAE Engineer in crash, working on front, side, roof, and rear crash for various load cases (USNCAP, EURNCAP, KNCAP, CNCAP). • Conducted robustness analysis to evaluate the impact of minor changes in parameters like time steps, geometry, material stiffness, etc., on chassis strength to assess model robustness (ANSA, LS-Dyna, Animator). • Collaborated with the experiments team to provide inputs for experiments and evaluate results to validate simulations.

• Developed a prediction model to derive strengths of spotwelds in different crash simulation loading scenarios with 96% accuracy as a researcher in Crashworthiness (Abaqus, ANSA, Animator, Python, Linux). • Successfully automized the whole process of simulation, derivation of stiffness, analyses, optimization and comparison with experiments to optimize the prediction quality of the FE model.

In my role as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Braunschweig, I utilized Python scripts in Abaqus to design and construct 3 and 5 way crossing stiffeners for an aircraft fuselage. This work contributed to research efforts at Airbus in Stade, optimizing meshing and achieving smooth cross section geometry for enhanced aerodynamics.

• Building non-linear projection based Reduced Order Models (ROMs) with the help of an autoencoder for the non linear mapping resulting in significantly lower simulation time without losing accuracy to optimize and accelerate crash simulations of automotive parts.

• Identified and optimized parameters such as laser power, beam size, and vector path that impact the additive manufacturing process, reducing code run time by up to 70%. Expanded the code to include new functions and shapes for 3D printing, creating a prototype to print via .STL for any arbitrary shape (MATLAB, Additive Manufacturing, Hypermesh).

• Conducted crash simulations for battery development and optimization, analyzed the impact of various crash scenarios on battery safety, collaborated with the engineering team to improve battery design (ANSA, LS-Dyna, Meta). • I have contributed immensely into retrospective meetings which were bi-weekly meetings to discuss the progress made by my team, with a team of department heads and hence led to process improvements.

• Conducted various competitions such as CAD competition, Robowars, technical quizzes and various other workshops and Industrial Visits to industries such as Volkswagen and as a result, won the best student committee award among 12 other teams in that year. • Recruited and mentored successfully a team of junior members of SAE, which were leading the team in the next year.

• Publicised events such as Robowars, Treasure hunt, Engineering quiz, Marathon and many more in and around Mumbai region which attracted a record number of participants that year as compared to previous years. • Helped me in building good communication skills and team work as I had to constantly follow the instructions from the department heads and communicate it smoothly to the students and spread the word around in other colleges to attract more participants.

• Modeled Crack Initiation and Propagation in Fiber-Reinforced Composites (FRCs) using XFEM. • Conducted experiments on FRC specimens with different fiber angle orientations for material properties. • Achieved 95% accuracy in simulations through sensitivity and parametric analysis.

Studienarbeit/Study Project: Modelling of Crack Initiation and Propagation in Fiber Reinforced Composites (FRCs) using eXtended Finite Element Method (XFEM). Masterarbeit/Masters Thesis: Analysis of the prediction quality of mesoscopic Finite Element Models for the derivation of strengths of resistance welded joints.

Activities and Societies: Apart from academic, I was marketing head of the college festival, the captain of winning cricket team in the inter-college tournament, and made few mini projects and presentations.
