Technology transfer from the laboratory to the industry. Study concerning the laboratory representativeness of the hot rolling process for a grade of Dual Phase Steels. An investigation of phase transformations by hot torsion was carried out to find the parameters that have an influence on the hot rolling of this class of steel.

CERMAT/EMC-UFSC - Powder metallurgy research. Development of suppliers, sinteriring process and matrix compositions with diamond dispersion for cutting tool applications.

Application development of new polymeric composites with different naturals fibers. Contact with suppliers and clients. Work with different process as injection, extrusion, hot forming and coating of plastic components.

Failure analysis of metallic components and industrial processes, analysis of welded components and automotive paints and production of technical reports. Laboratory tests: quantitative metallographic analysis, hardness testing, mechanical testing, chemical analysis by optical spectrometry, salt atmosphere test and analysis using SEM.

Development of components in grey and nodular cast iron. Works in the line of sand cast molding, process control and simulation of filling and solidification of castings by MagmaSOFT software.
