Establish, manage and grow ILOG’s captive offshore software development capability, including a new Offshore Development Center in Shanghai, China. Responsible for all aspects of the new operation, including recruiting and skills development, methodology & processes, infrastructure, liaison with stakeholders and budget.

Hands-on leader of the team implementing solution frameworks, partner integrations and demos around ILOG’s Business Rule Management System (BRMS). Strategic partners in the SOA and BPM space included IBM, BEA, Oracle, FileNet and EMC Documentum.. Worked closely with the Market Development, Alliances and Product Marketing teams to deliver maximum marketing & business impact with minimum cost.

Led a complete redesign of ILOG JTGO, a Java and XML-based user interface component for Network Management. Defined new product architecture, specified demos and samples to illustrate key use cases. Worked closely with product marketing, the development team and key customers to ensure a smooth transition to the new architecture while maintaining 100% compatibility with previous versions.

Led the design and development of ILOG TGF, a distributed object-oriented framework for Telecom Network Management user interfaces, written in C++ and Java. Worked with pilot customer and product marketing to develop initial specifications, managed the development team (up to 10 developers) through several release cycles and provided pre- and post sales support to multiple customers and partners.

Conducted pre-sales engagements, implementation projects and training for customers throughout Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea and Australia.
