Project Director for the Mega-Project Deep Tube Upgrade Program, 94 9-car Trains for London Metro developed by Siemens Mobility Austria and Germany, Produced in Vienna and Goole UK

• Reports to 3 Business Units • Project Volume ca. 1.800 Mio € • Brief description: Development and delivery of 82 passenger trains for RheinRuhrExpress in Germany with 32 years of Service contract. Production spread over 3 production sites. Planning and construction of a Depot for the Service activities in Dortmund.

• Reports to: Business Unit CEO • Sales / Budget: 400-700 Mio € • Staff: above 100 , 9 direct reports • Brief description: Responsible world-wide for locomotive sales and project execution. Key achievement:stable project execution in turbulent times, new marketing approach for VECTRON Locomotives as platform product in Europe, expanding to Russia (JV Ural Loco) and American Passenger Market – launching Amtrak as Siemens customer for E-locos

• Reports to:Division CEO Rolling Stock • Brief description: Lead of a Cross-Division Strategy Program to establish production and engineering sites in India, with a Team of 4 Siemens Management Consultants and 5 division Team members.

• Reports to: Director Sales & Projects Locomotives Germany • Project Volume: above 500’ € • Staff: 55 total staff, 4 direct functional reports • Brief description: Managing a consortia (with KrausMaffai) locomotive delivery project of 195 locomotives for Deutsche Bahn, as consortium leader towards the customer.

• Reports to Head of Engineering • Improvement Project for internal Software engineering processes • Staff: e.g. 100 total staff, 20 direct team menbers • Brief description: Lead a project team to improve the software process of the basic control software development for railway vehicles to get closer to the CMM-Level 3.

• Reports to: Head of Engineering UPS • Liaison consultant within Turkish development team. • Team: 12 development engineers • Brief description: Know how transfer and consulting to a new established Turkish development team in Istanbul. Advice on Functional tests, type test requirements, test routines, measurement tools and basic product requirements. Progress report to headquarter.

• Reports to: Head of Engineering UPS • Introduction of OEM Desktop-UPS in Siemens product portfolio • Staff: just myself • Brief description: Qualification of an OEM Product out of Taiwan to European and Siemens product requirements and technical evaluation. Managing every necessary aspect to market this products under the Siemens Brand.

• Reports to: Head of Engineering UPS • Part of a development Team • Brief description: Development of circuits to measure and control vital parameters like frequency, power, currant and voltage by using the latest controller technology. Designing printed circuit boards accordingly to go into series production within the Siemens UPS high power product range.
