Dr. Jens Hepperle

- Work with cross-functional teams (Process research, Industrialization, Regulatory, Marketing) to implement new processing routes for biological active chemicals. - Plan and align demand and supply of a portfolio of agrochemicals on a global level with Bayer sites and Contract Manufacturers (raw materials, inventory management, supply chain topics, packaging, quality control). - Implement production related improvements in fine chemistry (risk minimation, quality improvements, debottlenecking, CAPA).

-Executing implementation of international projects (innovations, cost base, technical feasibility, production transfers) from product development until market introduction prior to launch. -Representing global supply chain requirements within cross-functional projects together with R&D, marketing, production and purchasing. -Executing capacity analysis for bottleneck situations at Bayer plants, Contract Manufacturers and/or suppliers. -Conduct Audits to comply with HSE and quality standards.

- Develop new formulations and material concepts together with different functions (R&D, Marketing, Biology, Processing, Controlling) - Conduct Audits at Contract Manufacturers and Quality Control Labs in Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan) - Conduct processing trials with in-house and external production facilities - Work in close alignment with French development teams

-Conduct plant trials with production teams to improve processing conditions at large scale production plants. -Develop new Processing routes for Polymers, Polymer Dispersions and Thermoplastics. -Initiate research topics within Process Development groups with a wider input for Bayer business areas. -Implement research topics with different Universitities and Scientific communitites (DFG, BMBF) to foster relevant scientific areas fro Bayer R&D.

Conduct different areas within polymer research to foster physical research with experimental data and experience (Rheology, Long chain branched Polymers, Polymer Processing).
