- Responsible for the development of novel co-polyester and co-polyamide products and applications for, amongst others, textile, automotive and packaging applications - Managed projects from ideation together with the customer to product development (polymer synthesis or compounding) at laboratory scale, scale-up and multiton production scale - Lead a team of three lab technicians and responsible for the formation of apprentices

Continued development of the self-catalysed frontal polymerisation method developed during PhD with the aim to commercialise it: - Successfully developed a strategy that minimises the process variability and enables local optimisation and scaling-up of the polymerisation process. - Evaluated business opportunities in the automotive, energy and leisure industries by carrying out a market study, consulting potential industrial partners and developing an initial product roadmap and cost analysis.
