Lead Operations Team within the External Manufacturing organisation for Europe by driving the development of the contract manufacturing network according to the business needs and corporate external manufacturing network strategy. Manage the assigned external supply network during the overall lifecycle of each contract in order to safeguard the supply of products manufactured externally. Align and drive operations related activities to launch, develop or license a product from external partners (NBOs).

Responsible for manufacturing (bulk capsule production) and packaging processes for Pradaxa. Setting the framework for production/packaging processes which are in compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements. Continuous optimization of manufacturing and packaging processes with the aim to reduce costs of goods while maintaining/improving the Quality of the product. Further, the role comprises the responsibility for the training department of the pharma production site Ingelheim.

Leading and supervising the Quality Control unit "Solids" with its 4 laboratories and data management group with regards to performing release and stability testing of marketed products and Port of Entry analysis, timely and successful analytical transfers and world wide launches. Further responsibilities comprise: - Analytical post approval improvements for robust and cost efficient analysis and production - Maintaining an appropriate Quality & GMP-Level within the laboratories
