After the acquisition of Ibeo, I'm now continuing the development of our private OpenStack cloud under the name of MicroVision.

Primarily working with OpenStack and Ceph, deployed and managed using the operator lifecycle manager Juju from Canonical.

Development, monitoring and maintenance of HPC clusters and related services. * Juju charm development using reactive Python * Slurm workload manager deployment * Transition from Rocks to MAAS as server provisioning tool * Technically responsible in HPC cluster procurement processes * Administration of Dell EMC Isilon as storage backend

* VMware admin and hardware technician in an environment with 550 servers running Linux, Windows and MAC OS X. * Server deployment and monitoring based on RHEL, Red Hat Satellite, Nagios, CFengine and RPM packaging. * Operating the university's main web clusters using Apache, Tomcat, Varnish Cache and Linux Virtual Server. * Lead engineer for the department's two NetApp clusters. Includes daily operations, planning and budget. * Active Directory integration of Linux servers using sssd.

* Configuration and maintenance of the university's Symantec NetBackup installation. * Automated server deployment using VMware, Red Hat Kickstart and self-built RPM package repositories. * Installation and maintenance of web applications (Apache/Tomcat/PHP/MySQL). * Nagios maintenance and scripting used in our 24/7 on call operations.

* Compiling, packaging and distributing software under Solaris and Linux using RPM. * Migrated from NIS to OpenLDAP as directory service, integrated with Samba as PDC. * Key role in developing utilities and integrations in Perl for directory management. * Developed an application in Rembo Toolkit (today IBM's Tivoli Provisioning Manager for OS Deployment) for managing disk image distribution and computer configurations in student labs. * Daily end user support in all IT related matters.
