From scratch built-up a whole new division of sanitary, heating and plumbing materials merchants in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany with half a billion sales, 5-10% EBITDA and Return On Net Assets in the high teens Acquired 10 companies, with performance of all above expectations as a result of substantial operational improvements and synergies in sales, pricing, procurement, working capital/ logistics, organizational rightsizing and asset management

Reviewed numerous capital expenditure and acquisition proposals for senior management Responsible for development of valuation models and business case in major acquisitions like Gétaz Romang, a € 600m Swiss listed builder merchant, Quester a € 250m Austrian builders merchant and the buy-in of a 48% stake into German builders merchant and DIY operating BauKing (over € 500m in sales).
