As UK MD I had P&L responsibility for a £45m subsidiary and had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in mobile (e.g. Vodafone, Orange) during a period of explosive growth for the entire industry.

Responsible for sales management and direct sales into mobile operators during the launch of GSM onto the world stage. A hugely rewarding opportunity to experience cultural diversity and be part of an amazing growth story.

Responsible for supporting Hitachi's range of secure microcontrollers with a special interest in smart cards. This included participating in the the creation of the technical standards for the GSM SIM.
