Operational and strategic responsible for Global Planning and Procurement in Europe, US, Japan and China. Globally responsible for TSS inventories and for purchase planning processes and teams of over 40 team members with a spend of over €300m.

Built up a project management system in Global SCM to improve project performance in TSS. Set up and executed a cross functional business improvement project between marketing Europe and SCM Europe which drastically reduced non value adding processes between the BU’s.

Responsible for the development and growth strategy for the sales segment Chemical Processing, Food/Beverage and Pharmaceutical Market. Creating awareness for the new and profitable Pharmaceutical market which still today is one of the few growing segments.

Director for the procurement organization in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with teams on 5 sites with 5 direct reporting managers and 16 buyers. Responsible for a material spend of over 100 M€. Key achievements include transforming organization into project based procurement, introducing material cost reduction program with 4 M€ savings in 2005 and starting up low cost sourcing.

Project Manager for international Turn-Key energy infrastructure projects. Focus on Mexico and other Latin American Markets. Based 2 years in Mexico as resident project manager.
