Drive end-to-end AI/ML solutions for predictive maintenance across major automotive brands within the VW Group. Connect business, vehicle engineering, data science and data engineering from use-case definition and signal strategy through model development and implementation. Identify new AI/ML business opportunities and align them with business owners while coordinating data scientists and engineers.

Developed predictive maintenance solutions using large-scale vehicle sensor data, including anomaly detection, pattern recognition and Remaining Useful Life estimation. Coordinated data collection across 50,000+ vehicles, supported cloud-based ML implementation and developed KPIs for model and dashboard monitoring. Collaborated with engineering and data teams to bring predictive solutions toward production.

Conducted applied research in a Volkswagen Smart Production Lab, focusing on Industry 4.0 and predictive maintenance. Worked with maintenance teams to identify critical production issues and meaningful machine signals while minimizing additional sensors. Developed algorithms for early failure detection in gluing devices and welding guns, resulting in scientific publications and a patent.

Supported Volkswagen projects in Robotics and Plant Electrical Engineering. Worked on automation and robotics, test environments, control software validation and sensor data acquisition. Developed analysis systems using numerical methods and programmed in C, C++ and C#. Gained hands-on experience with industrial automation, software testing and sensor-based system analysis.

Worked within Volkswagen's plant technology environment on the release and validation of industrial process equipment. Investigated OTX (ISO 13209) and developed the concept for a software-based tool supporting standardized test sequences. Master's thesis focused on applying OTX to plant system technology, combining industrial requirements with automated testing.

Worked in the Energy Department on automation, fluid power, energy conversion and motion control. Contributed to a 3.5-DOF motion control system, electronically controlled micro-pumping system and Stirling engine. Developed control solutions using PLCs and C/C++, combining mechanical design, hardware development, automation and hands-on prototyping.
