My master thesis project focusses on updating the geometry and the heat flow of an existing basin model by including additional geological and geophysical data using the latest Schlumberger PetroMod and Petrel software applications. A new workflow is tested in order to refine the model and to better understand its spatial and thermal evolution.

Location: Nizhnevartovsk (SW-Siberia) Primarily, I accompanied the entire process chain of preparing a cementing job (CMT). I also gained basic experience in: • Sperry Drilling Remote Operational Control Center, (GeoPilot, LWD, survey management, InSite, Compass) in the • Sperry Drilling Service (SDS), in the • Halliburton Completion Tools department (HCT) and in the • PDC Bits Repair Facility (HDBS)
