- Coordinate a research project to set the basis for a joint programme between the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico, and the Automotive Component Sector. - Identify south-south cooperation opportunities in the industry sector, particularly in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Chile. - Prepare draft project documents for a comprehensive automotive programme for Mexico. - Liaise and coordinate with key partners in preparing the relevant documentation.

- Assist the United Nations Resident Coordinator in the management of various development programmes undertaken by the United Nations Country Team in Mexico. - Responsible for logistics and organization of international meetings and events for the Coordination of United Nations workshops, conferences and retreats. - Monitor of MDGF Joint Programme: Establishing effective and democratic water and sanitation (W&S) management in Mexico to support the achievement of the MDGs.

- Responsible for coordinating the visit and participation of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and the UN Delegation to the G20 Summit, in Los Cabos Mexico. - Organize side events of the Secretary-General, including a high-level press conference. - Coordinate and liaison between Mexican authorities and UN representatives. - Coordinate with the other Presidential delegations bi-lateral meetings with the Secretary-General.
