Utilizing cross-functional relationships, is adept in leading value added value engineering projects, make versus buy, benchmark cost reduction, understanding total cost of ownership, and negotiated savings through contract development. Has negotiated multiple supply agreements up to $24M and traveled internationally.

Managed three buyers and a tool crib staffed with six operators. Managed production spend of $115M and all indirect spend. Negotiated master leases, equipment maintenance agreements, temporary services contracts, and capital equipment purchase agreements. Led and supported production component and indirect spend project teams that implemented component resourcing and indirect projects including new cutting tools, cutting fluids, and major equipment purchases.

Managed domestic and international sourcing of service parts. Developed new concepts for specialized golf car accessorizing. Responsible for corporate plastics spend of $21M. Led cost reduction efforts by identifying VAVE and negotiated savings opportunities. Developed cross functional support and participated on multiple project teams including lean manufacturing and kaizen events.

Responsible for engine spend of $11.6M along with multiple other commodities including propellers, fabricated components, interior and exterior lighting, hardware, upholstery, plastics, powder coat paint, honeycomb, and sealants. Led teams to support cost reduction and drove new component and process implementation. Negotiated terms agreements and developed cross functional relationships between multiple plants to support company and project synergies.
