Responsible for GM vehicle interior parts; Instrument Panels, Cockpits, Dashboard, Floor Consoles, Door Trim, Decors, Ambient Lighting, Glove box, Labels, Garnish. Managing all current and future vehicle project for GM Europe, all OPEL and CHEVROLET Europe carlines and joint vehicle programs developed by GM & PSA. Manage a spend of 600 Mio. Euro annually Leading a team of 12 buyers and SD engineers located in 5 countries

• Managing a team of 7 buyers and supplier quality engineers. • Leading all current and future sourcing activities of dedicated powertrain commodity groups for GM Europe's current and advance Engine programs. • Besides my global role, as local responsibility managing all Indirect Materials & Services procurement activities for GM Turkey. • As lead member of GM Global Creativity Teams (Cranktrain and Connecting Rod&Pistons) developing and implementing supply base strategy for GM Europe Powertrain.

I was responsible for all Advance Purchasing activities for dedicated powertrain commodities, components and systems, and team leader role required mentoring less experienced buyers globally. Responsible for ~20 suppliers globally, w/ annual purchasing turnover of ~ 80m€. This assignment required deep product, industry, and supplier knowledge and strategic capability to develop robust proposals and plans in order to create competition by developing product and supplier options.• I

Developed and implemented commodity strategy in assigned commodities. UZEL ranked among the top 10 tractor manufacturers in the world in terms of production volume. The Agricultural Machinery Unit is the regional leader, with its sales and marketing network and has a share of 44 % in the Turkish tractor market.
