Responsible for a group of 5 engineers working on an Agile environment. I give technical advice to the team and work closely with them to define the architecture and explain (tech) requirements for our systems. I’m also in constant communication with our Business department and Management to gather new requirements and prioritizing features for our products. I’m responsible for the internal systems used by the company, as well as the infrastructure and integration with our partners.

Working in the full stack, from back-end to front-end, infrastructure (devops) to databases and software architecture design on several projects, couching, doing research and helping our team to implement new and better tools to improve our processes and increase the overall quality of our product.

Worked on an API redesign for the Marketing department, where the main goal is to get a cleaner, simpler, faster and a reliable Single Point of Truth for marketing related KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that empowers the Marketing department with cutting edge data that helps to improve and boost the decision making.

Worked on project planning and management, I'm in charge of contracts and business relationships with our customers and partners, as well as a first level consultant. Had participated in analysis and design in nearly all the projects we have been involved in as a company, from desktop applications, hardware control (parking lot automation), electronic data interchange (EDI), through Web applications (custom LMS, CMS).

Among my responsibilities are extending the API functionality, standalone tasks to be run as scheduled jobs for metrics calculation, creation & maintenance of the required data sources for metrics (couch db views mostly), bug fixing, and occasionally front end enhacements.

Development and maintenance of a RESTful API for McKissock EliteCME subsidiary, integration with other McKissock APIs and subsidiaries, API, database and components design.

Development and maintenance of Web Applications. Analysis, design and programming of databases. Front & Back end components design, development and support. Requirements gathering, customer attention and support.

Assignments from research to application of new trends on Web development, integration of third party APIs into inhouse solutions, map services (Google Maps, Bing Maps). AMS (Application Maintenance and Support), Software Development, Resources Training, Business Analyst, Architectural Design, Databases, etc.

Research on Intelligent Agents for automating a greenhouse. Gave semester long classes on compilers, web programming and introduction to data structures subjects.

Worked on an eLearning system to handle the instructors and student's enrollments, grades, exams, progress, career plans, etc., as well as a real-time module (virtual classroom) that allowed students to interact with their instructors and partners.
