Orokonui Kiwi Translocation Charity Gala
The Charity Event was organised to raise funds for the translocation of the Haast Tokoeka Kiwi from the west coast of New Zealand to the Orokonui Ecosanctuary in Otago. It was the first charity event of this kind for the region and for the community! The live auction raised over $18,000 for the Kiwi translocation and the evening was a wonderful success with the New Zealand Minister of Conservation in attendance.
