For a study called the Hopes-study, I was responsible for the initiation, planning and execution of the project. I further analysed the data and presented the results on several international conferences. For the study we recruited individuals with a recent suicide attempt (plus two control groups) and investigated the following key processes in relation to suicidal behavior using brain imaging: emotion regulation, envisioning future positive events and inferring on emotions of others.
