SPECIALIST - ENGINEERING / DESIGN QUALITY ASSURANCE • Monitoring Supplier activities and ensure supplier’s product quality • Lead tracking of adherence to corporate Failure Mode Avoidance processes within Ford India including rolling out new corporate process as required. • Support to develop formal problem solving skills of Ford India Product Development team by identifying training needs and developing and delivering a plan to meet those needs (ongoing). • Lead tracking of adherence to corporate problem

• Monitoring Supplier activities and ensure supplier’s product quality. • Ensure 100% defect free parts supply to assembly line with 100% first pass yield. • Ensure all parts met the spec requirements and first-time pass during program execution. • Take initiatives to reduce rework % and ensure 100% cut to assembly. • Implement Quality Procedures / Process / Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and monitor the same. • Take control of QC's/QA's with checking patterns/specification, identifying and resolving production

•Be an active member in the global network of Project & Commodity buyers •Develop the Sourcing plan for components & systems according to cross-functional time plans. •Manage Sourcing activities in project phase: Drive the supplier selection process Secure that supplier selection complies with Targets/Budget (Sourcing deadline, tooling/SIPD cost) •Supplier assessment •Lead the APQP activities with an international supply base •Control all phases of project through CAE, Design, Construction, and Tryout.
