- Coordinate the student-run orientation program for the over 600 incoming freshmen, international and transfer students - Compose letters and emails to a variety of audiences - Hire and collaborate with a Lead Team of four peers - Train 94 individual leaders - Deliver a speech before approximately 2,000 people

- Socialize with the family’s three children: five year old twin boys and one three year old daughter - Develop the children’s language skills by speaking with them in English

- Facilitate and foster the community of Kaneko Commons, a 300 plus person dormitory on campus - Trained specifically to know where to send students for specific problems they may have - Implement the rules of the community - Advise committee meetings - Led a staff development session with nine peers

- Provide constructive criticism on student speeches - Listen and suggest ideas for how to best present the speech - Brainstorming with students about what to include in a speech and how to organize it
