Collaborate with local and global teams to implement chemical regulatory laws.

Introduction of new Raw Material and Finished Products in SAP by coordinating the work flow with R&D, Quality Control, Regulatory affairs, Product safety, Dangerous Goods, Sustainability, Customs and Sales team. Creation of QC-inspection plan for new raw materials and finished products by aligning with R&D and Business unit. Co-ordination of work flow for existing products/raw materials changes. checking regulatory compliance to match company and country regulations.

Successfully supported the launch of new cosmetic ingredients by supervising a lab team. Analytical characterization of of small and macro molecules using state of the art analytical tools including NMR, GC, HPLC, MS, etc. Preparation and development of new natural based extracts, enriched fractions or isolates for bio-efficacy screening. Supported Formulation and Complaint Management team for the quality issues in existing products, by identifying the problem and providing suggestions for rectification.

Successful creation of over 200 fragrance & cosmetic ingredient structure identity reports for REACh registration process. Coordination of workflow with regulatory, production, quality control and research departments. Led a team for natural product isolation and structural elucidation project. Analytical method developments, database creation and transfer of methods to QC.

Successfully led multidisciplinary projects by collaborating with various research teams. Led the team in extraction and enrichment of bio-actives for the product development food ingredients. Identified and quantified bio-actives (plant secondary metabolites) using HPLC-MS, GC-MS, MS/MS, NMR. Supervised and mentored students and technicians for chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
